About Me

As a seasoned compensation professional with experience in both consulting and corporate environments, my experience has prepared me well for fast-paced environments where deadlines are priority and handling multiple projects simultaneously is the norm. I've spent the last 4 years as Director of Compensation & HR Operations with Interpublic Group in New York City. Early in my career, I paid my dues in the high-performance consulting environment at Towers Perrin in New York City. Then I briefly left the NYC/northern NJ area to join Hershey Food Corporation in Pennsylvania. I had a few years of rich experience with Hershey Foods before moving back to the NJ/NY area to join Agfa Corporation. There I was in a traditional Compensation Manager role, however, my first project was to implement a hosted HRIS and Payroll system. With Agfa, I also managed the international and domestic relocation programs. After a few years with Agfa, my dream opportunity came with a position at Novartis Pharmaceuticals. My four years with Novartis was an incredibly rewarding experience since their compensation & HR programs are so progressive and well-structured, and the professionals there are certainly "best in class" in intelligence, experience and talent. I consider it the "special forces" for Compensation professionals.

I joined the NAPW a few years ago, not really knowing what I was getting into. I knew I had stumbled onto something great when I went to the 2012 conference, and it's just gotten better and better from there. I'm honored to be part of such an heralded and effective organization.
