About Me

Toni Vanwinkle is an accomplished leader with over twenty-five years of experience developing high-performing teams, building cross-functional partnerships, and driving organizational change initiatives to improve business outcomes.

Toni started her career at Alps Electric USA, a Japanese owned US operated OEM manufacturer. She served in various leadership roles including, General Accounting Manager and Corporate Controller. Toni would go on to implement policies, governance, and operational improvements that would save Alps shareholders time and money. After implementing her first integrated ERP system in the late nineties, she left Alps to pursue a consulting career in systems integration.

Between 1997 and 2001, Toni was a Principle Consultant and Consulting Manager for Quovera. In these roles she implemented Oracle applications for startups and mid-size businesses across Silicon Valley. Toni and her consulting team completed over 8 implementations of Oracle Enterprise applications during the internet boom. This success led to a Management Consultant opportunity at Cisco systems. Cisco hired Toni to work with a cross functional team that would implement Oracle 11i, at the time, this was one of the largest Oracle implementations in the world. Toni worked at Cisco Systems for 8 years in various roles driving business and process change. One of her notable contributions at Cisco was the development of a Release Management Organization (RMO) that would transform delivery and production stability for Cisco Services.

Toni joined Adobe in 2009 as the Sr. Manager of Release Management. Her role was to bring structure and discipline around delivery in the Enterprise Applications organization. The IT Release Management Organization (RMO) quickly became the go-to organization ensuring that release planning, environment management, and production acceptance was a standard delivery practice. Under Toni’s leadership the IT RMO grew from 3 to 21 employees worldwide. Release velocity increased from 4 releases to over 200 per year, improving IT’s time to value.In 2011, Toni was promote to Director.

In 2013, Toni was asked to take an expanded role as IT Quality Leader. In this role Toni worked with an external firm to conduct a quality study which led to a quality program. The program focused on quality improvements across the delivery and operations lifecycle. The program resulted in a 50% improvement in code quality, increased awareness of operational gaps, and a shift to solving quality at the source.

In 2014, Toni moved from the Enterprise Applications organization to Employee and Technical Service taking on an expanded role leading the Quality and Service Management organization. Over the past year, Toni and her global team contributed to shift to End-to-End Services, improved service availability, developing operational standards, and provided visibility to drive accountability and action with Senior Leaders across Adobe.

In addition to her functional role, Toni has always made time to develop of the next generation of leaders. In 2011 she served as a Management Essentials Leader and Mentor, she also served as an advocate for the Kickbox innovation program , and has been a role model for Check-In in her team and others.
