About Me

My name is Sara K. Blackwell B.S., J.D. My professional title is Partner at Blackwell Firm, I am also an author and a professor. My skills and areas of expertise include Criminal Victim Advocacy, Employment and Immigration Law. I received my J.D. from Louisiana State University. I am currently involved with Sarasota Diversity Committee, Sarasota Bar Association, Sarasota Inn of Court, Employment Lawyers Association and University South Florida. I am licensed in Louisiana (since 2002) and Middle, Southern and Northern Federal Districts of Florida since 2011.

I am drawn to and passionate about charitable organizations such as my church, and children with disabilities. My hobbies and interests include writing, I am currently working on my third book. I enjoy working out, running and participating in Fashion Shows.
