About Me

I am a motivational speaker who uses my life's experiences, my story, to inspire others. I survived a brain injury and live with 5 auto-immune diseases, a seizure disorder, a pituitary adenoma with side-effects, and other debilitating ailments. I had to learn to see excuses for what they are--obstacles to achieving your dreams. I have managed to get married, have a miracle baby, run half-marathons, and return to school, and I try to do it all with a positive and grateful attitude.

My skills and areas of expertise include Public Speaking, Seminars, and Writing. I am an attorney by trade and was a litigator most of my legal career. My professional titles are CEO & Speaker at, which specializes in public speaking and seminars. I received my B.A. from Cornell University, my J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, and most recently an M.S. in Narrative Medicine from Columbia University. In Narrative Medicine, we use narrative training to help clinicians hear the stories of illness, with the hopes of creating better patient-doctor relationships. This type of narrative training can be used in any industry where you tell stories to communicate.

My hobbies and interests include reading, exercising, and spending time with my husband and daughter. I am drawn to and passionate about charitable organizations and doing community service.
