Luvenia Ramsey

About Me

Luvenia Ramsey is currently an educator and grade level chairperson for Fulton County Schools. She began her career in education in 2002 with Fulton County Schools. Luvenia has served as PTA President from 2004-2007 and she received national recognition in 2006 for the highest percentage rate increase of PTA members to join during her tenure as president. She also has served on the Local School Advisory Council (LSAC) and served on the Fulton County Superintendent's Teacher Advisory Council (2011-2012). She is a member of the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) and a member of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW).

Luvenia received a Bachelor's Degree in business management from the University of Maryland and a Masters Degree from Central Michigan University in business management. She returned to school and received her dual certification in Early Childhood General Education and Special Education from Mercer University. Also, she earned her Specialist in Education (Ed.S) in Teacher Leadership and a Reading Endorsement from Mercer University.

She has served as an Adult Peer Buddy for At-risk children and has served on children's creative arts programs. Also, Luvenia has helped to prepare meals for a homeless shelter through her church's organization.
