About Me

My name is Lori Thomas. My professional title is Regional Well-being and Engagement Consultant at Arthur J. Gallagher & Company.

I joined Arthur J. Gallagher in August, 2016. Prior to joining the Gallagher team, I worked as the Wellness Coordinator for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska for almost nine years, helping them achieve "Platinum Well Workplace" status four times consecutively.

I have been recognized as one of the Top 100 Health Promotion Professionals in the country by the Wellness Council of America (WELCOA) and see myself as a change agent in the health/wellbeing field with over 15 years of experience.

In my role as Regional Wellbeing & Engagement Consultant, my primary focus is to provide our clients the support they need to develop total health promotion and wellbeing practices with strategic design, implementation and evaluation of their initiatives with regard to health and wellness. I believe that building and maintaining a culture that creates and encourages opportunities for employees to obtain "whole person" wellness are key to attracting and retaining an engaged, resilient workforce. My passion for life and commitment to excellent customer service make me a trusted advisor to those around me.

I am a graduate of Winona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and an emphasis on health promotion. I have been certified as a health coach through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and I serve as secretary on the Metro Omaha Tobacco Action Coalition (MOTAC) board of directors. I also sit on the Papillion Community Foundation Board as I reside in Papillion, Nebraska with my husband, four children and two dogs.

Some of the things I love are watching my children play sports, cheering for the Nebraska Huskers and the Philadelphia Eagles during football season, and getting lost in a good book.
