About Me

I currently work as the Systems Engineer for a critical platform involved with electronic warfare. My professional title is Systems Engineer at DoD, which specializes in Aerospace. I started my career in engineering when very few women went into this field. I am very proud of my accomplishments and the platforms that I have contributed to including: B-1B bomber, B-2 bomber, F-35 fighter, DDG-100 stealth destroyer, and various missile systems. My skills and areas of expertise include system test engineer and Computer Science and Systems Engineering professor. I received my M.S. from Azusa Pacific University . I am currently involved with International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), AOC (Association of Old Crows - Electronic Warfare), Defense Acquisition Corps, Southern California Training Council, Software Engineering Forum for Training, and held teacher credentials in mathematics in Oklahoma and California. Some of the honors I have been awarded include the Civilian of the Quarter, Advanced Technology Development Team Award, Lt Gen Howard Leaf Test Team of the Year Award, and ITEA Team of the Quarter Award. My interests include gardening, walking on the beach, and spending time with my family including my 8 grandchildren and 6 children.
