About Me

As an enterprise agile coach, Kimberly Petschen brings 20 years of history as an agent of change, providing transformation, coaching, and training services for corporate, startup, and nonprofit organizations at all stages of change. She has trained over 50 teams and leaders across 40 companies from 12 industries, making her especially skilled at adapting to the needs of her students by connecting the material to relatable, real-world context. Kimberly’s reach spans Travel, Financial, Media & Entertainment, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy & Utilities, High Tech, Education, 501c3 Non-Profit, and Retail industries. Kimberly is an advisor to senior leaders and coach to newly launched and mature teams to transform areas within IT, Lean Agile Product Development, Portfolio Management, Program Execution, Team Coaching, DevOps, and Business Agility. Kimberly’s coaching clients include AT&T/DirecTV, BlueCross BlueShield, NBC Universal, Disney, World Travel Holdings, American Express, and Microsoft among others.

Kimberly is an Certified SAFe® Program Consultant (SPC 4) as well as a seasoned Project Management Professional (PMP) and PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business, Information and Decision Science from the acclaimed Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Kimberly has a passion for the creative arts and is a trained actor, attending the University for Performing Arts. She has written, acted, and directed short films as well as appeared on two television series, a motion picture, and a documentary. Kimberly leverages the knowledge she gained in audience engagement to facilitate interactive, thoughtful and fun training classes. She has coached youth basketball and regularly seeks opportunities to mentor young people, including her past involvement with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
