An area of expertise with my job includes being very Detail-Oriented. This is such an important skill with my unit, Research & Analysis. We are committed to closing major gaps in the state's collection, analysis and dissemination of data and to providing high-quality data and analysis for informed decision making by job seekers, policy makers, economic developers and other stakeholders in Indiana's economy and labor market.

A few recommendations:

--- “Kim is a detail-oriented professional that strives to provide quality service. Her work ethic, personality and willing spirit makes her a valued colleague."

--- During the seven years I worked closely with Kim Stevenson, she shared her knowledge with me concerning her roles within the unemployment and employment services for the State of Indiana. While being the new person in the office I found out quickly that Kim was a source that was eager to help and willing to share her experiences with me. As time went on I changed jobs and now still call on Kim to share with my students, her knowledge about job search using labor market data. The information she has is very insightful to Harrison College graduates and helps them be successful in their job search. While Kim speaks to my classes, she also keeps me informed of new and changing details from the state. Kim is always eager to help and share with others how they can be successful by the tools she provides for the Western Indiana Communities.

--- “Kim possesses pratical hands-on experience and demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of the field. She utilizes all available resources to achieve results and can be counted on to achieve results in emergency or immediate situtations. Kim displays a strong personal commitment to successfully completing all projects."
