About Me

After yeas of many wonderful experiences working for other organizations I was presented with the opportunity to start my own; with the invaluable support of my family and business partner we were able to begin providing services to individuals with disabilities to secure gainful employment, one of my biggest goals was to provide a working environment that fostered development and opportunity to our staff in addition to providing a positive and honest working environment. I came into the nonprofit world by chance, started working with youth with disabilities and thanks to supportive organizations earned my certificate in grant writing and became very involved in working with individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing by providing American Sign Language interpreters.

I am also fortunate to belong to a wonderful service club Claremont Sunrise Rotary, being a part of Rotary International I am one of 1.2 million members that follow the 4-way test, 1. Is it the Truth? 2. Is it FAIR to call concerned? 3. Will it build GOOD WILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIP? and 4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to call concerned? These tenets are part of my daily philosophy in the work I do and business associations.

Throughout my career I have learned that being a successful woman is definitely something to be proud of. I joined the National Association of Professional Women because I feel it will be beneficial for me to network with other business owners and professional women.

I am currently involved with Rotary and my local Chamber of Commerce. I am a past president of my local rotary club and currently an executive assistant to an area in my district. Some of my hobbies and special interests include spending time with my husband, our dog, my extended family, hiking in the local mountains & being involved in my community
