Notable results:

Part of team defending private equity firm in multi-state litigation against claims for breach of fiduciary duty related to the client's investment in a distributor of medical devices that filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy relief. A favorable settlement was obtained and the claims were ultimately dismissed with prejudice.

Obtained $3.5 million judgment for client who had sued former employees for stealing trade secrets, customer information, equipment, and parts to set up competing business using stolen goods and proprietary information.

After weeklong trial, obtained jury award for 100% of claimed damages in contract dispute over unpaid bills and successfully dismissed counterclaims for professional negligence.

Obtained favorable settlement for class of common shareholders in a dispute over fairness and validity of a company recapitalization.

Obtained favorable settlement of claims by unions against subcontractor for alleged failure to pay benefits under ERISA.

Obtained favorable settlement for homeowner in dispute with general contractor for negligence and breach of contract.

Aided commercial landlord in negotiating new lease for tenant entering bankruptcy proceedings.

Represented domain name holders in UDRP actions through the WIPO against cybersquatters, competitors, and phishers, obtaining infringing domain names for clients.

Recent case: After years of litigation regarding a contractor and homeowner that involved unpaid subcontractors, shoddy construction, claims of fraud, a successful settlement was reached for the homeowner.

My current goal is Becoming partner, expanding my practice into mediation and arbitration by becoming trained as a professional neutral.
