About Me

My name is Erin Nance, MD. I am a Hand and Upper Extremity Orthopaedic Surgeon in New York, NY. I am a life-long New Yorker and graduated from the Marymount School on the Upper East Side. I attended the University of Virginia on the Jefferson Scholarship and was a Lawn Resident. I received my medical degree from Brown Medical School. I completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Lenox Hill Hospital (New York, NY), Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital (New York, NY), Boston Children's Hospital (Boston, MA) and Baltimore Shock Trauma Hospital (Baltimore, MD). My specialty training was performed at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Hand Surgery.

I am currently involved with ASSH- American Society for Surgery of the Hand, AAOS- American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, AOA- American Orthopaedic Association and AMA- American Medical Association.

I am passionate about supporting local establishments such as the New York Philharmonic and Metropolitan Museum of Art. In my spare time I enjoy traveling and playing tennis. I live in New York City with my husband and daughter.
