About Me

My name is Diane Doering. For the last 15+ years I have been working in the financial services industry within Operational Risk - either in an investment management firm, a bank, or a sovereign wealth fund. For the last 5 years I have lived in Abu Dhabi, UAE where I collaborated with colleagues from across the globe to develop, gain approval for, and implement an Operational Risk framework designed to support a sovereign wealth fund. It was a challenging and rewarding experience!! I recently returned to the New England area to be closer to family and friends.

My skills include: operational risk management, business continuity, project management, policy development, process and control analysis. I believe that operational risk provides tools to foster collaboration by bringing people together to discuss process improvements instead of finger pointing. I have a strong track record for collaborating successfully with my colleagues in Risk, Audit, IT, Compliance and Legal. I am certified by the Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII) and the Business Continuity Institute (BCI).

I love to travel and meet new people! I am dedicated to helping other women. A couple of years ago my daughter and I supported a school in Kenya by providing the funding to build a dorm / shower area for girls attending a rural school so they wouldn't have to walk the long distance to and from school. My goal is to continue to support the education of women in the US and abroad.

I look forward to meeting other wonderful women!
