Debra Daniels

Procurement Officer and Program Manager - transitioning from the military and seeking employment in the private sector

About Me

I am a senior leader with over 15 years of experience leading defense, international and commercial procurement and critical acquisition programs in various organizations and at multiple levels of headquarters. I provided strategic procurement and global sourcing solutions in support of a broad customer base in the US, Europe, Africa, Korea and Southwest Asia. I have demonstrated experienced conducting acquisition and strategic planning, managing programs, human capital resources, logistics, information and facilities operations. I have directed diverse, multi-national, geographically-separated contracting organizations with an annual scope averaging over 30,000+ contract actions valued in excess of $1-$3 billion annually providing supplies and services supporting 17-40,000+ personnel on 18+ locations in Europe, Africa and Israel. I have led cross-functional teams of up to 50 and headquarters staffs between 30-250 to meet or exceed objectives; prepared and executed annual budgets of up to $30 million and managed contracts valued between $10-35 billion. I have established regional procurement policy and executed procurement authority to support complex and competing regional and international requirements in austere, hostile and humanitarian environments.

I have vetted (and I currently hold) a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Intelligence Clearance (TS SCI).

I am also a passionate supporter of (and I volunteer in) charitable organizations focused on eradicating child hunger. I actively support veterans' organizations that implement initiatives and policy changes to positively impact service members, veterans and their families. I am also an amateur photographer, videographer and graphics artist: I use these skills to support my church and other organizations.
