About Me

I began my professional career working the counter at my local McDonald's while in high school. It was here that I learned hard work, organization, multitasking, and most importantly, what it means to provide good customer service. While earning my degree at the University of Central Florida, I worked for a small smoothie restaurant. Here, I was promoted to Store Manager and was responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. After graduating with a degree in Advertising/PR and Marketing, I went to work for Reiss Engineering, Inc. as a Marketing Coordinator, and was promoted to my current position as Corporate Administrative Manager after working for the firm for just over three years. As a Marketing Coordinator, I increased my skills in project management, sales, responsibility, and team work. After a successful tenure with the Marketing Department, I was excited and humbled to be offered a position in Management overseeing our administrative staff. I now manage three Administrators, a Project Managers Assistant, and our Facilities Manager. I am proud of my team and the service we provide to our internal and external clients each day. I was nominated Employee of the Year for 2012 and 2014 by my peers at Reiss Engineering. I was honored to have been given the award as it confirms that my hard work and dedication to my company has not gone unnoticed. Being a strong professional woman has helped me greatly on my journey to becoming a better, stronger manager and leader. I joined the National Association of Professional Women because I feel it will be beneficial for me to network with and learn from other business owners and professional women. Some of my hobbies and special interests include spending time with friends and family, playing with my puggle puppy Lily, running and yoga, and being creative in any way I can (painting, drawing, fashion, interior design, crafting).
