About Me

I work with small businesses and nonprofits to create strategic communications plans. I help my clients define their brand, build their communities, and measure success. I have more than a decade of experience in messaging, digital marketing, and media relations.

Working for smaller organizations has made me a full stack marketer. I’ve worked in both the B2B and B2C realms. I oversee organizational social media accounts and content strategy, identifying and connecting with key influencers. I’m a huge nerd who loves to research before I dive in and then use data to optimize. Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and Adobe Creative Suite are vital to my existence. I’m not easily daunted, so I love to take on challenging projects. My enthusiasm and boundless curiosity makes me a good person to recruit, train, and motivate teams.

I’ve planned a number of events, from meet-and-greets to a 10-day festival. I know it’s easier to get 30,000 people to come out for a weekend than to get 50 people to come back every week. I can help you connect with people and build a community around your mission.

Partnering with business development and fundraising teams is particularly rewarding – there’s nothing quite like having tangible results at the end of the day.

Right now I’m finishing up my MA at Baruch by researching how computational thinking impacts the work of executives. I did my undergrad in media and cultural studies at the New School, culminating with a thesis tracing networked communications from the birth of the postal system to early online social networking.
