Cheryl Krajna

About Me

Ms. Krajna has more than 20 years of experience in journalism, public relations, corporate communications and marketing.

She began her career as a newspaper reporter, editor and columnist at several local publications, including Bee Group Newspapers, Metro Group and the Tonawanda News. She served as public relations coordinator for the Sweet Home Central School District and PR assistant for the Cheektowaga Police Dept. She has held positions in both corporate communications and Medicare marketing communications at Univera Healthcare.

Krajna has a B.S. in newspaper journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, an M.A. in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) from St. Bonaventure University and completed post-graduate IMC coursework at Oxford University in England. She is currently an adjunct faculty member for St. Bonaventure's IMC program, working with students as they complete their final thesis projects.

She holds the Certified Grant Writer designation from the American Grant Writers' Association and is a member of the American Marketing Association, Public Relations Society of America and the Advertising Club of Buffalo. She is a Fellow of the WNY Writing Project at Canisius College, and coordinated that organization's 2007 Young Writers' Festival.
