Ann Goebel-Greenwood

About Me

My name is Ann Goebel-Greenwood. I am an author at Core Inspirations, LLC, my writing corporation. I recently published my first book, Misbegotten, under the nom de plume Josephine Goldman. I transitioned to a writing career after 29 years in education as a special education teacher, elementary school principal and district-level director of Pupil Services. In that capacity, I relied heavily on my skills and expertise in educational budgeting, staff development, leadership, hiring and staff evaluation, culture and change, and policy compliance. I earned my M.A. in Educational Administration from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

I am currently retired from education, and decided to take advantage of a move from Wisconsin to Florida to embrace the second part of my entrepreneurial passion by writing. I am currently working on my second book, The Whispering of Snowflakes. I am also very involved in volunteering. I serve on the Faith Early Learning Center Board as Chairperson and I serve on the Board for the Heart Gallery, an adoption organization for children in the foster care system.

I am drawn to and passionate about charitable organizations such as Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center (SPARCC), Food for the Poor, and organizations that assist individuals in fostering living sources, so that individuals in developing countries may better their lives in a sustainable way.

My hobbies and interests include travelling, live theatre, reading (especially at the beach), and any activity involving friends and family.
