Andrale Jean-Louis

Executive Officer

About Me

My name is Andrale Jean-Louis. I am an executive officer in the United States Army. I earned my Masters' degree at Webster University.

I am a motivational author, as well as a first lieutenant in the army. I am also a living testimony to the resilience of the human spirit in the face of adversity.

I was born in Brooklyn, New York. I spent much of my childhood in my family's native Haiti. I endured years of neglect and abuse - first at the hands of my aunt in Haiti, then, returning to the States, from my biological mother. For years I tried to "earn" parental love, but I eventually redirected my focus to the building of a successful life. In doing so, I have honed in on the spiritual lessons of my beloved grandmother, as well as my own inner strength. I realized that we all have a core of strength within us--we just need to learn how to access it!

Today, I dedicate my life to helping others overcome their obstacles and to be the best person they can possibly be. My debut book, "I am not my Mother's Child," is a powerful story that describes how I relied on faith and pure strength of character to get past a painful childhood, live a successful life and (most importantly), be a loving mother to my own child. I am currently working on my second book, which chronicles my experiences in the military.
