Purpose of Position-

The job functionleadsthe sourcingand innovation for allnewequipmentconcepts,testingand continued monitoring of equipment, changes and operating performance within Dunkin’Donuts. This position is also responsible for assisting with the communication and aggressive collaboration withcross-functional teams,the Franchisees,NDCP network and various Franchisee Advisory Committees.

This work includes “off the shelf” equipment, modifications to standard equipment and development of new equipment as required by brand programs, operational improvements, product improvements, safety issues and QA issue resolution.

What You’ll Be Working On-

  • Collaborates and works togain support and alignment with Operations, Marketing, Culinary, Legal, Construction, Equipment services,Supply Chain Equipment,Brand Innovation, and theNDCP
  • Leads thedevelopment ofrobust equipmentconcepts
  • Leads the developmentof equipment creationfrom concept throughAlpha testing.
  • Responsible for actively understanding and monitoring the equipment activities of DDs competition (traditional and not)
  • Builds strong relationships with current and future equipment vendors
  • Meets regularly with cross-functional teams to fully understand innovation pipeline and the role of equipment in that development
  • Consults with Operations Engineer to ensure sound equipment and service practices are applied to all processes associated with the equipment, designdirection and facility layouts; and thatall equipment conforms to industry proven quality and food safety standards
  • Consultswith Operations Engineeron creation andmaintenanceoftheformer,current andfutureequipment complete functional specification
  • Manages equipment in storage at various locations
  • Attends several traditional and non-traditional equipment trade shows throughout the year

What You’ll Need-

  • Bachelor’sDegree a plus but not required
  • 5-10 years of experience in restaurant industry in equipment
  • Computer proficiency of Microsoft products including Excel
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience with equipment vendors and/or distributors
  • In-depth knowledge of restaurant industry operational best practices
  • Working knowledge of various engineering best practices
  • Demonstrated effectiveproject management experience
  • Past entrepreneurial demonstrated experience
