Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is The International Association of Women (IAW)?

The International Association of Women (IAW) is a global in-person and online professional networking platform that provides nearly one million women the forum, education, and services to thrive in an interconnected world.

IAW members have diverse backgrounds, beliefs, perspectives, and lifestyles with one common bond—their ability to succeed. Through local chapters, in person and virtual events, our community empowers each other to realize their dreams, acquire the connections and knowledge needed to rise, and build better work-life balance and confidence vital to lead.

Founded in Chicago in 2017, IAW is a division of Professional Diversity Network, Inc. (NASDAQ: IPDN), a global network tailored to provide diverse professionals worldwide with access to networking and employment opportunities.
    Who can join the IAW?

We welcome all women who are committed to supporting one another for personal and professional success. •  Expand your network, when you connect with members by attending local chapter, regional, national, and international events. • Are you affiliated with any other women's associations?

IAW has absorbed the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), which was also a brand of Professional Diversity Network, Inc. IAW was created to represent a natural evolution of NAPW, with a global reach and an expanded set of benefits.
  • I am an NAPW member, does this mean I also receive membership in IAW?

Yes, all current NAPW members are members of IAW.
  • How is IAW different from other women’s associations?

We offer a blend of networking, professional development with a dose of motivation to help you realize your dreams, rise and lead. Through our large reach we are able to provide resources that smaller organizations can’t provide. Perhaps more significantly, IAW is one of the only organizations that is part of a publicly-traded global corporation which has as its mission the success of its members. Our publicly-traded status means that we are subject to all of the checks and balances that privately-owned businesses often are not.  In addition, over 95% of our IAW employees are women, which means that every decision we make is made by women who respect and understand what you want in an organization like ours.
  • How much does IAW membership cost?

There are several membership options offering different levels of access to benefits. Click here to review the packages.
  • What is IAW's refund policy

When you sign up for an annual membership, you agree to pay upfront for the full-time included in the subscription period. For details, please view our Terms and Conditions.
